Hurricane Katrina’s devastation will be remembered as one of our nation’s worst tragedies.  Yet, in our business, it may be remembered as one of our finest hours.  Our recovery teams worked around the clock to help restore our member’s businesses that were affected.  Because of their ReadySuite memberships, these organizations are back up and running, but we don’t know if their families were as prepared.

With today’s growing threats of information theft, identity theft, and privacy ramifications of inadequate data security on the rise, organizations are overwhelmed in maintaining security of their networks, while trying to meet the information security guidelines of the federally mandated HIPPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and Graham Leach Bliley Acts.

One can no longer afford to stand by and wait till a disaster occurs, before investing in the security measures necessary to meet Federal guidelines and customer commitments. By then it will be too late to react and the cost too high (loss of customer trust, lost income, severe penalties for non-compliance, and possible jail time).

Has Agility’s response to Hurricane Katrina exhausted all of your resources?

No, we have successfully responded to 16 customer declarations from
those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Our Operations team advised us
daily on the status of our current inventory. Although our recovery
efforts for Katrina surpassed all previous events, with $35 million in
assets, we are still well equipped to handle our current members' needs.
